Ulrich Fohler (* 1977, Linz, AT) and Holger Jagersberger (* 1972, Linz, AT) work with a variety of media, choosing mediums that best fit with the concept of a specific project. Their methods of creative work undoubtedly reflect their interdisciplinary experience and practices of everyday life. In Pardubice they combined photography and work with plastics. They spent their time exploring the modern history of the town. They created proposals for new monuments in the form of a poster series. The posters combine reflection on the past with imagined scenarios for public space in two of Pardubice’s housing estates - Polabiny and Dubina. The topic of post-war sculptures and respect for artistic quality comes up in their work, as does the need for participation between all users of public space as well as decision makers. The factories on the city’s outskirts, a mix of (migrant) workers, globalized economy and local history. These are interesting areas for artistic research. Holger´s and Ulrich´s second work was three-dimensional cardboard objects in crystal forms named Safir, Diamant, Condor, placed into public space like aliens. They remind us of the bygone fame of the Pardubice Tesla factory and point at its genius loci and the genius loci of Pardubice’s other architectural jewels.

“We found the former Tesla factory by accident, and researched that the radio recorders Safir, Diamant and Condors were made there. We have placed our objects next to the central train station, on the roof of the Automatic Mills and in the courtyard of the Tesla area to serve as helpers in recollecting citizens' memories and to become a sort of poetic guards standing between sleeping beauties and failed monuments.”

Ulrich Fohler (* 1977, Linz, AT) a Holger Jagersberger (* 1972, Linz, AT) pracují s různými médii, která nejlépe odpovídají konceptu jejich konkrétního projektu. Jejich způsob tvůrčí práce bezpochyby odráží i jejich mezioborovou zkušenost a praxi každodenního života. V Pardubicích kombinovali fotografii s plastickou tvorbou. Svůj čas strávili průzkumem moderní historie města. Pro veřejné prostory sídlišť Polabiny a Dubina vytvořili sérii plakátů - konceptů nových monumentů. Jejich návrhy kombinují reflexi minulého a fikci. Objevuje se zde téma poválečných soch a respektu k jejich kvalitě, potřeba participace mezi uživateli veřejného prostoru a těmi, co rozhodují. Fabriky na kraji města, mix dělníků (migrantů), globalizovaná ekonomie a lokální historie. To vše jsou oblasti zajímavé pro umělecký výzkum. Holgerova a Ulrichova druhá práce, trojrozměrné kartonové objekty krystalických forem pojmenované Safir, Diamant, Condor, jako vetřelci zasazení do veřejného prostoru, pak připomínají zašlou slávu pardubické Tesly a svou přítomností upozorňují na její kouzlo a kouzlo dalších architektonických skvostů Pardubic.

„Bývalou Teslu jsme objevili náhodou a zjistili jsme, že se tu vyráběly kazeťáky Safir, Diamant a Condor. Naše objekty jsme umístili vedle budovy hlavního vlakového nádraží, na střechu Automatických mlýnů a do dvora Tesly, aby zde sloužili jako asistenti ve vybavování si vzpomínek místních a jako jakási poetická garda stojící mezi spícími kráskami a padlými monumenty.“
